Sociology major careers and jobs

Graduates of the sociology major are valued for their ability to assess how social class, race, gender, religion, age and physical ability affect our surrounding world. So what can you do with a major in sociology? 

Some of our students pursue careers in social services, teaching and higher education, human resources, market research, and government or nonprofit research, while others pursue advanced degrees in the fields of law, business, health sciences, social work, and public policy. Many students also choose to combine sociology with degrees in health, education, criminology, psychology, or social justice, depending on their career goals.
