2014 Lenten Half-Day Ecumenical Retreat

On the Road to Jerusalem: Jesus in Jericho

Midway through Luke’s Gospel, Jesus “sets his face” to go to Jerusalem, that is to face his passion and death.  Along the way, Jesus has many personal encounters, two of which occur in Jericho: the blind man and Zacchaeus.  Fr. Jim Flaherty, S.J., our retreat director, will lead us on our own journey during this morning of prayer and reflection, refreshment and renewal.  Please join the Faber Center for this time of slowing down at the end of your hectic and busy week as we begin this holy season of Lent.  Register by Thursday, March 6, via e-mail at or by calling 288-4545.

Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius

The exercises are a pathway to recognizing God's activity in our deepest desires and growing in unity with God. Emerging from the experience of St. Ignatius Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, the Exercises provide a structured opportunity to mature in spiritual freedom and make choices that are responsive to God's call in one's life.
