Marquette Moms started in January 2010 with a group of moms returning to work following maternity leave with their first child and struggling to transition back to work and find a work-life balance. This

group meets over lunch during the year to talk about the joys and struggles of parenthood and working mothers. Twice a semester, Marquette Moms is sponsored by the Faber Center (9/23 and 11/18, 2013).  Lunch is provided and Dr. Kathy Coffey-Guenther, Associate Vice President in Mission and Ministry joins the group and facilitates a more pointed discussion. The Faber Center library offers a selection of many books by numerous authors for your reading and/or spiritual education and refreshment.  All books are included in the Raynor Memorial Libraries on-line catalog, MARQCAT, and are located in the Faber Center, Schroeder Complex, Room 111. The Faber Center offers an opportunity to meet regularly  (at a mutually suitable time) with a spiritual director, someone with whom to talk and reflect on the invitations and experiences we encounter that lead us to grow into a deeper awareness  of that which is sacred and meaningful in our lives.

Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius

The exercises are a pathway to recognizing God's activity in our deepest desires and growing in unity with God.
