"What's Your Decision?: How to Make Choices with Confidence and Clarity: An Ignatian Approach to Decision Making"

Please join us as we welcome Rev. Michael Sparough, S.J., a spiritual director, retreat master, writer and storyteller who currently serves on the staff at the Bellarmine Retreat House in Barrington, IL. He taught for twelve years at the Loyola University Institute of Pastoral Studies training spiritual directors.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Yale School of Drama and a Doctor of Miistry from St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, IL.

He is also the founder of Charis Ministries, the Chicago Jesuit outreach to young adjults in their twenties and thirties. Started in 2000, Charis has grown to be the premiere young adult organization for retreats in the Ignatian tradition for young adults. Presently Charis has affiliates in over twenty cities across the U.S>

A prolific writer and speaker, Fr. Michael has ublished extensively on prayer and the sacraments with St. Anthony Messenger Press, paulist Press, Liturgical Training Publications, Loyola Press and Heart to Heart.

His latest book, What's Your Decision?** is published by Loyola Press. This text on the Ignatian tradition of discernment is co-authored with Fr. Tim Hipskind, S.J., and Jim Manney. Currently, he is writing a screenplay adaptation of Cardinal Bernardin's book, The Gift of Peace.

What’s Your Decision? Book Discussion Group:

We welcome you to join us in our continuing discussion of Jesuit Fr. Michael Sparough’s book, What’s Your Decision?: How to Make Choices with Confidence and Clarity: An Ignatian Approach to Decision Making.  James Muraski, Instructor from the College of Business Administration, and Michael Dante, Director of the Faber Center, will facilitate this breakfast and book discussion group to further break open the decision making process in light of an Ignatian approach.  Register by Monday, September 23 at 288-4545 or FaberCenter@marquette.edu.
