  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop public and community health courses, and explore collaborative relationships between Marquette’s Department of Biomedical Sciences and other health programs.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in community health, global health, community engagement and advancement of teaching and learning.
  • I’d like to learn more about Marquette’s overall vision and mission, strategic direction and the advancement of service to the communities of Milwaukee and beyond.​

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to develop a new course in my department, apply to several grants, and collaborate with other faculty across campus.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to learn and understand the Marquette culture so I can better serve the students I work with.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in the Marquette sports as well as colleagues interested in recreational outdoor activities.
  • I’d like to learn more about methods for online management of classes and student clinical experiences to enhance the students education. As well as opportunities that allow faculty and students to experience the Marquette University experience.​

Assistant Professor

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to better understand how Marquette University lives out its mission in the surrounding community and the world. I would like to operationalize how my research lab will contribute to MU’s mission. I will lay the ground work for a sustainable research lab that will foster innovation and I hope to better understand resources available to sharpen my skills as an instructor to the benefit of MU’s student body.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in applied economics, behavioral science, and decision science.
  • I’d like to learn more about Marquette’s role in developing/fostering start-ups. I’d also like to learn more about how (as an institution) MU fosters a positive work-life balance, and how MU develops leadership in their faculty.​

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to explore more of the various University committees and other service opportunities, and to connect with faculty from other departments as I often feel we are in somewhat of a silo over here in the PA building.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in more effective teaching methods, particularly new active learning techniques.
  • I’d like to learn more about the finer details of D2L and how I can utilize it to its fullest potential.​
