AACN Excellence in Academics Nursing Scholarship

Deadline: August 1 and November 1, annually

Cathy L. Brock Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: December 12, 2008

 

Open to minority students in a graduate healthcare program. Must be U.S. citizen. Must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Applicants must demonstrate leadership potential, community involvement, and commitment to health care administration. Must also demonstrate financial need. Damm-Weaver Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: April 1st Annually

The Adelaide Damm - Helen Weaver Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student pursuing a career in the mental health field in the amount of $500.

 

Infinity Rehab

Deadline: none

Open to students in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology. Must have completed first semester of program, and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must be US citizen, permanent resident or international student in lawful status. Candidates chosen to receive the award will be required to sign an employment agreement with Infinity Rehab, and employment beginning within one month of graduation. See scholarship office for application.

 

NASP-National Association of School Psychologists
(Graduate Minority Student)

The NASP-ERT Minority Scholarship Program was established to address thisneed in our nation's schools. To help foster and encourage diversity in the profession, the Minority Scholarship Program is pleased to annually award $5,000 to at least one qualified and select student of School Psychology.

 

National Health Service Scholarships

The NHSC offers a competitive scholarship program designed for students committed to providing primary health care in communities of greatest need. Scholarship recipients serve where they are most needed upon completion of their training. To be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen enrolled, or accepted for enrollment, in a fully accredited Family nurse practitioner program (master’s degree in nursing, post-master's or post-baccalaureate certificate), nurse-midwifery program (master's degree in nursing, post-master's or post-baccalaureate certificate), physician assistant program (certificate, associate, baccalaureate, or master's program), or Dental school. Navy (Health Service College Program)
Deadline: None

This is a four-year scholarship in which the Armed Forces will pay for your medical school tuition and expenses (required medical supplies and required books; currently excludes computers). In addition, they give you a monthly stipend for ten and a half months of living expenses (now over $1,000/month). In return, your commitment is four active duty tours of 45 days each year ofmedical school (the other month and a half of pay not included in the stipend), four years on active duty as an armed forces doctor, and four years of inactive reserve duty (served consecutively with medical school).
