September 28: Beyond the Veil, Enaya Othman First part of the "Heart of Community Series." Professor Enaya Othman will discuss the importance of exhibits which are organized to increase public understanding of the meaning of dress to Muslim women and therefore reduce the widespread negative representation and stereotyping conned into women's appearance. Congratulations to Dr. Eugenia Afinoguénova, Professor of Spanish, for receiving the Way Klingler Fellowship Award. The Way Klingler Fellowships are for full-time regular faculty at the Associate or Full Professor rank who have potential for significant scholarship.

Congratulations to Olanrewaju Awosiki, a senior majoring in Spanish for the Health Professions for being one of two winners of the prestigious Fulbright Award.
