I was born and reared in Rome, Italy where I completed my first degree in English and Spanish. In 1998 I received my Master’s degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at UWM where I worked as a T.A. in the Spanish and Portuguese Department. I completed 31 credits toward a Ph.D. in Spanish Literature at UW. In 2002 I started teaching Spanish and Italian at Marquette University. In 2006 I became the head of the Italian Program and mentor to the Italian club. Currently the Italian Program offers all levels of Italian language.
