Office Associate —Regional Development (Chicago office)
This Office Associate will serve as administrative support for the Regional Development team in University Advancement in our new downtown Chicago office. Marquette University’s Office of University Advancement seeks a highly motivated individual, ready to join a dynamic team that recently led a very successful campaign ($357 million raised, exceeding our $250 million goal). As we prepare to launch our next major fundraising initiative, we are looking for a performance-driven individual who is eager to help Marquette embark upon a campaign of unprecedented size and scope.
Primary responsibilities include preparing reports, correspondence and documents related to advancement work; relaying information to volunteers, donors, university friends and departments; developing and editing promotional PowerPoint presentations; organizing calendars and meeting schedules; arranging advancement-related travel; hiring, training and supervising student workers as necessary; handling incoming phone calls; tracking departmental budgets; maintaining relevant records; and retrieving data from the departmental database.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience should include three to five years of related experience in a business environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong written, verbal and creative skills; be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access; maintain confidentiality; work efficiently in a team setting; be highly organized, able to prioritize and attentive to detail; and complete work with minimal supervision.
