Prospect Analyst

This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing data to assist University Advancement in measuring and tracking Advancement’s overall progress to goals with respect to prospect cultivation and solicitation.  Through collaboration with and assistance to the Associate Director of Prospect Analysis, this employee will produce timely reports designed for management, development directors, prospect management, and benchmarking.  The Prospect Analyst will use Microsoft Access and Crystal reports integrated with Raiser’s Edge to produce and distribute customary reports; produce ad hoc reports upon request; and examine report data to provide trend and exception analysis using SPSS software as needed.  The successful candidate will have the ability to meet multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of two years experience in analysis and reporting which utilized SPSS and Microsoft Access or other relational databases.  This individual should possess accurate and efficient data entry and word processing skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access; ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues; strong problem solving and organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to exercise independent initiative as appropriate; excellent written communications skills, including proficiency in editing, spelling and grammar; and the ability to maintain confidentiality.  It is helpful for the candidate to have experience with Crystal reporting and Raiser’s Edge.
