Managing Director of Regional Development, West Coast

The Managing Director of Regional Development, West Coast will develop and implement a donor centric and entrepreneurial fundraising strategy for the region to maximize production for Marquette and the university's priorities.  In addition to maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and donors, the position will manage and direct regional fundraisers focused in that region as well as work to integrate the fundraising and engagement activities in the region for all of University Advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS:  A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and/or university is required, along with 5-7 years of strong development, fundraising and management experience necessary, particularly in preparing and soliciting major six and seven figure gifts.  The ability to travel extensively is required.  A proven track record of strategic, entrepreneurial and creative fundraising success, the demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that is results-oriented and fast paced along with the ability to build strong collaborative relationships across a complex organization is needed.  Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as budget oversight and management skills are essential.  Commitment to Marquette's character as an urban institution, its goals, mission and Jesuit Catholic tradition is needed.
