Rev. Scott Pilarz, S.J.

Since coming to Marquette, I have developed a deepening sense of the university's impressive scope and its dedication to educating students to engage, lead and improve the world around them. A proud tradition of support by benefactors for Marquette and its Catholic and Jesuit mission makes possible the excellence we achieve in the transformative education we provide to our students.

Humbled to be part of both this legacy and the Marquette family, I invite you to join me and all involved alumni and friends in making the next chapter of that tradition — our chapter — the most extraordinary to date.

With gratitude,

MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY GIVING SOCIETIES

Every gift to Marquette becomes a part of the university’s heritage. Whether it is directed toward scholarship aid and the wonderful impact it has on current and future students or to other important needs of the university, every gift leaves an enduring imprint as we pursue our mission of promoting access and excellence as a Catholic and Jesuit university. We invite you to join us in preparing our students to engage and shape the world. Below, please find information about our annual giving society, lifetime giving society and planned giving society.

PRESIDENT'S SOCIETY

The President's Society is Marquette’s way of recognizing and thanking those who have helped to advance the university through annual giving of $2,500 to more than $25,000. Annual gifts can be directed to any area or need that is important to you. In addition to being recognized as a benefactor, you will have preferred access to university leadership, communication and programming. Learn more about the President's Society.

ARCHBISHOP JOHN MARTIN HENNI FOUNDERS SOCIETY

Celebrating individuals and organizations whose giving to Marquette has reached or exceeded $1 million, the Founders Society seeks to honor these benefactors for the profound impact they have had on Marquette and our students. Members are awarded a special medal acknowledging their status as distinguished benefactors; are included in a limited group of individuals who receive invitations to presidential and special events, programs and gatherings; have private access to university leadership; and receive communication and information from the university throughout the year. ST. IGNATIUS LEGACY SOCIETY

Gift commitments to the St. Ignatius Legacy Society include bequests made through a will or trust, gifts of life insurance, charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts and gifts made by beneficiary designation on retirement or pension plans. Learn more about the St. Ignatius Legacy Society.
