Why does Marquette need more money if it just raised $357 million through the Magis Campaign?
Contributions to the Magis Campaign built three new world-class facilities, added to endowed and annually supported scholarships, created a safer and more inviting campus, and made possible new academic and faith-based programs. For that, we are eternally grateful to our alumni and friends. These donors have inspired Marquette to think bigger thoughts and dream bigger dreams.
The Magis Campaign was not an end, but rather a beginning. In short, we are an excellent university that is not satisfied with standing still. With the support of our alumni and friends, we can be even greater.
To be truly considered one of the top three or four Catholic universities in the nation, Marquette must significantly increase its scholarship resources, continue to attract and retain outstanding faculty, and enhance academic and student programs.
