The Graduate Student Organization is a university-wide organization which emerged in 2004 from the efforts of concerned graduate students. The GSO is designed to voice graduate student concerns and opinions to the university, foster communication between administration and students, and improve social relationships between departments.
The GSO is comprised of two advisers (a Graduate School staff member and a faculty member), an executive officer board, and general members.
The general members of the GSO are ALL graduate students because they are considered voting members.
Visit the GSO website for much more information on the group's mission and goals and how you can get involved.
