The fellowships offer stipends to supplement regular research or teaching assistantships for master's and doctoral students in the sciences.
Amounts: Up to a $2,000 stipend to supplement an assistantship.
Eligible Programs: Biological sciences; biomedical engineering; chemistry; civil engineering; electrical and computer engineering; mathematics, statistics and computer science; mechanical engineering.
Requirements and Restrictions: Students must have been offered a teaching or research assistantship.
Application Process and Deadlines: Interested students should contact their department director of graduate studies for consideration. Nominations are then made to the Graduate School by the appropriate department.
