Graduate assistants receive a monthly stipend in return for their work. In 2012-13, stipend levels range from $13,517 to $22,130, depending on the program.
Stipends are issued by the Marquette University payroll office bi-weekly over the 10-month period of August through May.
Students are highly recommended to arrange for the direct deposit of stipends into checking or savings accounts. Instructions are found online.
