Financial Aid Application for Admitted Students

Application Instructions

To apply or reapply for merit-based aid from the Graduate School (assistantships, tuition scholarships, Milwaukee Area Teachers Scholarships and Catholic Schools Personnel Scholarships) complete the application for financial aid on CheckMarq by the appropriate deadline. 

Students interested in financial aid from the Marquette University Graduate School are strongly encouraged to submit the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA)

1. Log into CheckMarq.

3. Select "Apply for Financial Aid"

4. Select "Institutional Aid" (available only to students who are actively enrolled in graduate programs)

5. Apply for the type(s) of aid for any term that is accepting applications

Application Deadlines

Fall Term: Feb. 15th

(assistantships, tuition scholarships, Milwaukee Area Teachers Scholarships)


Fall Term: June 15th

(Catholic Schools Personnel Scholarships only)

Spring Term: Nov. 15th

(assistantships, tuition scholarships, Milwaukee Area Teachers Scholarships, Catholic Schools Personnel Scholarships)

Summer Term: April 15th
