The applicant's resume should clearly and concisely define his/her skills and interests. A few points that an applicant may want to include in his/her resume:
- Contact information: name, address, e-mail, phone
- Professional career objectives
- Educational background and degrees conferred
- Pertinent internships and employment history
- Honors and achievements
- List of published articles
- Research experience
- (Sometimes) Skills relevant to the program for which he/she is applying
- Information demonstrating his/her personality and non-academic achievements and hobbies
