The exhibition drawn from the Haggerty Museum's permanent collection also included a painting on panel, chalk drawing, and hand-painted lithographs from the Milwaukee Art Museum and a New York-based private collection. Daumier was best known during his lifetime for the lithographs he produced lampooning Parisian life, lawyers and prominent political figures.
