This permanent collection catalogue features the Smith Anderson Edition prints gifted to the Haggerty by Dr. Robert and Mrs. Sharon Yoerg. A complete checklist of this contemporary print collection and an interview with the collectors is included. Smith Andersen Editions, one of the leading fine art printing presses in the United States, was founded by Paula Z. Kirkeby in Palo Alto, California. Kirkeby who championed the monotype has worked with numerous contemporary artists including Miriam Schapiro, Sam Francis, Marguerite Saegesser and Joseph Zirker all of whom are represented in the catalogue.
