Hunger Clean-Up is a wonderful event that enriches both Marquette and the surrounding community. I chose to be a part of the leadership team in order to help make the event more than just a one day project. My goal would be to deepen the experience with education on the issues facing Milwaukee, action on the day of, followed by reflection on what people experienced in order to keep the spirit of Hunger Clean Up year round.

HCU is a great opportunity for our Marquette community to meet the faces and smiles of those in need in Milwaukee. I wanted to be part of the team that connects Marquette to the greater Milwaukee community. Also, I desired to be the face and hands of Jesus Christ for the impoverished and underprivileged. |

Hunger Clean-Up is a wonderful opportunity for Marquette to celebrate its place within the Milwaukee community. Marquette student engage in tons of service work and HCU helps to remind students about the requirement to serve. I am really excited to both help celebrate service on Marquette's campus and to try to engage more students in social action. |
