Pre-enrollment Support Program: Biomedical Sciences
The Pre-enrollment Support Program in biomedical sciences helps students make the challenging transition between their undergraduate and graduate degree programs in biomedical sciences or medical school.
This six-week program pre-exposes students to crucial aspects of the health or medical sciences curriculum, including, but not limited to, human gross anatomy, biochemistry, human physiology, neuroanatomical science and other health-related curricula. Students must be a rising junior or senior and enrolled in a four-year higher education.
Requirements
To participate in PESP, you must be:
- a first-generation college student
- financially disadvantaged, based on federal guidelines
- a U.S. citizen or legal resident
How to apply
To apply for CSEP and PESP, download an application below. This application is for all programs: dental, physical therapy, clinical laboratory science, physician assistant studies and biomedical sciences. You must also send three completed appraisal forms. At least two must come from science or math teachers. Please mail everything together in one envelope.
