It was another busy semester in Marquette’s College of Health Sciences. Our biomedical sciences students gave tours of the gross anatomy laboratory to a record number of visitors — more than 4,200 high school and college students from around Wisconsin and Illinois. Dr. Donald Neumann, professor of physical therapy, organized and hosted the second annual national educational workshop for kinesiology instructors in May. Dr. David Baker, professor and associate chair of biomedical sciences and co-founder of Promentis Pharmaceuticals, delivered keynote addresses at the annual meetings for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in Wisconsin, Montana and Pennsylvania. These and other achievements highlighted in this issue give us many reasons to be proud of our nationally ranked and recognized programs. For more, please visit us at our website and Facebook page.
