Welcome To Your Number One Health Resource
At Marquette University!
The Center for Health Education and Promotion is committed to providing programs, services and resources that create a campus culture in which Marquette students make informed and proactive decisions about personal and community health.
World AIDS Week
In honor of World AIDS Day (December 1), the Center for Health Education and Promotion/Student Health Service, Watumishi and MUSG have teamed up to provide a week of HIV/AIDS education and awareness. Highlights include free HIV/AIDS testing in the AMU and keynote speaker Bob Bowers, who will share his personal story of coping with HIV/AIDS for 25 years. For a list of all events, visit our Events Calendar or view the World AIDS Week poster.
Do Finals Have You Stressed Out?
Take a break from studying, and stop by the Stress-free Zone! The Peer Health Educators and Alumni Memorial Union will be providing free hand massages, healthy snacks, and other stress-relieving activities from 5pm-7pm in the AMU 2nd floor lobby, December 8-10.
Need a Flu Shot?
Did you miss Shoo the Flu? Flu shots are still available to all Marquette students, faculty, and staff at the Student Health Service (while supplies last). You can call the clinic at (414) 288-7184 to schedule an appointment. Flu shots are $30 (check, MarquetteCash, Visa, MasterCard or bank/debit card).
