Department to Co-Sponsor Madison Lecture with Wisconsin Historical Foundation October 19, 2016


The History Department will co-sponsor the inaugural James Madison Lecture with the Wisconsin Historical Foundation. The lecture will be delivered by Gordon S. Wood, Alva O. Way University Professor and Professor of History Emeritus at Brown University and recipient of the 1993 Pulitzer Prize for History for The Radicalism of the American Revolution (1992). The lecture is titled “Advice to the Egyptians (and other Arabs) from the Founding Fathers.” It will begin at 4:30 PM in Eckstein Hall, the MU Law School.
