Eligibility

All regular, full-time employees (those who work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week on a nine-twelve month annual basis) and full-time temporary employees (who have at least a one year appointment) are eligible. Full-time employees are automatically enrolled in Basic Life Insurance. Regular part-time employees can enroll, but must pay the full premium on a payroll deduction basis.

Basic Life Insurance Benefit

Marquette's basic life insurance plan provides basic coverage equal to one times your annual salary, rounded up to the next $1,000. Basic life insurance is an automatic benefit and is at no cost to full-time regular and full-time temporary employees with a one year appointment. Optional Life Insurance Benefit

Employees may purchase optional coverage of one, two or three times their basic amount, subject to certain limitations.
