Marquette Neighborhood Health Center

The Marquette Neighborhood Health Center is an in-network provider for all Marquette University health plans (EPO and PPO). Conveniently located near the west end of campus at 1834 W. Wisconsin Avenue, the center is operated by the College of Nursing. The center’s Nurse Practitioners provide a wide range of primary health care services to children, adults and families, with a focus on the person rather than a disease. Services include yearly check-ups (school, sports and work physicals), well-child care, immunizations, screenings, laboratory tests and management of chronic illnesses. Nurse practitioners are advanced practice nurses with licensure to prescribe medications. The nurse practitioners consult with physicians as needed.

Care for minor and acute problems

Evaluation and treatment for minor infections, burns, sprains and strains (that do not require an emergency room visit) can often be handled at the center, usually within a few hours of your call. We are happy to provide this service to you and communicate the information about your visit with us to your primary care provider.

Visits are by appointment during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (414) 933-9100. For more information, please visit their website.
