Center for Engagement and Inclusion

Welcome to "the CEI"

Located in Room 111 of the Alumni Memorial Union, the Center for Engagement and Inclusion (CEI) provides a space of engagement for all underrepresented and marginalized populations while also being a space for all students at Marquette. Our space allows for student interaction and study spaces while also being a space for use by multicultural student organizations.

Although our programming and services focus primarily on all underrepresented and marginalized populations through our Heritage, History and Awareness programming, our office is open to all students and fosters productive dialogue and interactions around inclusivity and multicultural engagement.

Mission

The CEI, within the Office of Inclusion and Belonging, is dedicated to promoting the engagement, well-being and holistic growth of our underrepresented and historically marginalized students. We are committed to providing resources, education and advocacy that support retention, uphold justice, encourage leadership development and celebrate diversity in accordance with our Jesuit values.

Vision

The CEI creates an inclusive culture that promotes equitable practices and resources our students deserve and the utmost reverence for their human dignity.

Center Hours

Card access is required to enter and students are expected to use the cleaning supplies in the space before and after usage to ensure the health and safety of the students who utilize the space.
