- In Opinio, choose Publish Survey.

- Next, choose Invitations.

- Choose the invitation that has the pool of respondents from which you wish to select.

- Choose 'Export Invitees'.

- Choose 'Responded Invitees'. A file containing the e-mail address of each respondent will be mailed to the e-mail address you provide.

- Open the emailed file in Excel. You will need to decompress the file, then import the resulting .txt file into Excel.
- In Excel, using Insert Function, add the RAND function in an adjacent cell.

- Duplicate the function, so that it exists next to each e-mail address.

- In Excel, choose Sort.
- Choose Expand the selection.

- Choose to Sort by the column where you have added the RAND function (Column A in the example below).

- The list of email addresses will now be sorted randomly. You may choose as many random respondents from the top of the list as you need.
