The university launched an upgraded CheckMarq, the student information
system, on July 28, 2008.

Timeline
- Students will register for summer and fall classes in the current version of CheckMarq.
- Faculty members will submit grades for spring term and the first half of summer term in the current version of CheckMarq.
- In late July 2008, students will make changes to their fall schedules and faculty will submit grades using the upgraded version of CheckMarq.
The enhanced system will provide improved functionality for students and faculty and advisors:
Students
- Create a term-by-term academic plan.
- View information in a concise format.
- Register for classes in a simplified three step process.
Preview a screenshot of the Student Center in the new CheckMarq. The Student Center is where you will add or drop classes, view your schedule, view your advisor’s name and contact information, view any holds on your record, view your financial aid and bursar accounts, update your address and telephone information, and restrict the release of your address or telephone number.
