John Lamb, Arts ’74, Grad ’76, is the vice president for finance
and treasurer of Marquette University. Lamb is responsible for
the finance division which includes the following: Budget, Bursar,
Comptroller, Endowment, Planning and Facilities, Purchasing, Student Financial Aid, Student
Loan Accounts and Treasury Services.
Lamb joined Marquette in 1977 as a financial analyst and has served in various administrative capacities including associate director of student financial aid, bursar, assistant treasurer, assistant vice president for budget and lecturer of economics. He was elected treasurer of the Marquette University Board of Trustees in 2007.
Lamb earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in economics and finance, both from Marquette. Chuck and his wife Barbara have two daughters: Kaitlin is a practicing attorney with the Wisconsin Public Defender’s Appellate Division, and Sara is a social worker with Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
