Sara Pforr, Arts ’94, Grad ’08, is the director of administrative services for the Office of Marketing and Communication.

Sara joined Marquette University in 2004 and has served in various roles on University Staff Senate since 2014, including treasurer, Communication Subcommittee chair, Work Environment Subcommittee chair and most recently as vice chair/chair-elect, where she led an initiative to be named as one of Milwaukee Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. An alumna of Marquette, Sara earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and in criminology and law studies, with a minor in theology in 1994 and a master’s certificate in dispute resolution in 2008.

An enthusiast of the arts, Sara has served in many roles with various community theatres and is the proud owner of Copper & Pearls, an artisan consignment store in Oak Creek, Wis. She and her husband, Andy, live in Franklin, Wis., and have two children, Addy, a senior in the College of Education, and Jonah, a senior in high school.
