Assist staff in the arrangement and description of historical records. Identify and organize documents, photographs, film, and digital materials. Prepare
reproductions of historical materials, as instructed. Assist in preparing displays and other duties as needed. No previous experience required.
Located in the John P. Raynor, S.J., Library, the Department of Special Collections and Archives is open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Student assistants work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the regular semester. Additional hours may be available during breaks and summer.
HELPFUL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Interest in historical records
Ability to work independently
Attention to detail
Computer/word processing skills
Experience preparing photographs for exhibit purposes a plus
