Raynor Memorial Libraries offers more than 1.8 million volumes, hundreds of research databases, computer access, laptops on loan, a multimedia
collection, group study spaces, 24-hour access and library staff members who help researchers from around the world.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies for the effective acquisition and discovery of library resources in all formats. Provide leadership in the management of acquisitions, cataloging and metadata services, including setting policy, establishing workflows and developing and documenting procedures. Hire, train, coordinate, and direct the work of unit staff, including five librarians and eight support staff. Monitor and evaluate trends related to resource acquisition, description, discovery and access, Develop assessment strategies and maintain statistics for unit activities.
