History: Founded in Ireland, 1775, the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary established these convents, which staffed Catholic schools serving Native Americans in the United States:

1800-1881 Presentation Convent, Aberdeen, South Dakota
1997-present Mount Loretto Convent, Dubuque, Iowa

All schools have been located in South Dakota.
