History: Founded by Saint Mother Theresa in Kolkata in 1950, the Missionaries of Charity made their first U.S. foundation in 1971. They established the United States Foundation (Bronx, New York), which has administered Catholic missions among Native Americans, 2002-present.

 

Holdings of Catholic records about Native Americans in the United States: Unknown, but pertains to their evangeilzation among the Navajo and Zuni Indians in New Mexico.
