History: The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement were founded in New York State, 1909.  They administered the following parishes with Native American parishioners.

1940-1952, 1968-1990s

St. Francis de Sales Church (Lumbee), Lumberton, North Carolina

1985-1987

St. Michael Church, Gila Bend, Arizona, from where they attended St. Lucy/ Ss. Simon and Jude Mission (Pima), San Lucy/ Paloma Ranch, Arizona
