History: The St. Michael’s College Archives serves as the archival repository for the Society of St. Edmund, which was founded in France, 1843, and made its first U.S. foundation in Vermont, 1891. The Society of St. Edmund administered St. Labre Mission (Cheyenne), Ashland, Montana, 1914-1925.
