April 2008 -- NATIONAL POETRY MONTH
@ the Libraries

Join the Marquette Libraries' celebration of National Poetry Month.  Raynor Memorial Libraries are hosting a foreign language poetry reading, co-sponsored by the Office of International Education and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures.

April 9 (Wednesday)
Raynor 301
11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

ALL ARE WELCOME -- The reading is open to all Marquette students, faculty and staff.  Poetry lovers will read their favorite poems from other languages; or poets may read their own poetry.  Feel free to come, bring a bag lunch, listen, and enjoy.  Light refreshments will be available.

Interested readers should contact   Dr. Jason Meyler, Assistant Professor of Spanish, to schedule a time to read in advance and plan to bring printed text in the language read, as well as an English translation to share with those attending.  You need not read or register to attend the session.
