May 2012—Please join the students and instructors of Applied History (History 4101) for a presentation of their semester's work. We will show the documentary movie we created on Lakota/Jesuit Indian Boarding Schools. We will also discuss the creation of our exhibit, "The Last Warrior." This free-standing exhibit shows the beginning and end of the Warrior team name, mascot, and logo.

Applied History is part of the Interdisciplinary Minor Public History at Marquette, a minor that focuses on the application of history for the general public. The Libraries' Department of Special Collections and University Archives collaborated with the Department of History and the Instructional Media Center in planning and teaching this class.
