Art from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas spanning time from 3000 B.C. to the present is included. Cultures and time periods represented range from contemporary art, Native American and Inuit art, to ancient Greek, Roman, and Egyptian works, along with Japanese and Chinese works.

You can search by keyword, artist, title of work, subject, type of object, culture and nationality, and more. Color thumbnails offer a preview of results. The Full Results display gives: the image itself, and the artist, materials and technique, title, dimensions, provenance, date, artist birth and death dates, and more.
