Digital Media Studio

The Raynor Memorial Libraries support digital media production for Marquette students by providing equipment, work space, and assistance for creating and producing multimedia projects and presentations. The Digital Media Studio includes workstations for both Mac and PC platforms with an array of software applications (see full list at bottom of page).

What the studio can help with »

Digital video recording and editing.
Create multimedia elements, including but not limited to: animation, custom graphics and/or video.
Publish a weekly podcast.
Create video, graphics and animation to make your PowerPoint presentation come to life.
Create a custom soundtrack.
Learn to create your own project with our self-guided Digital Media Production 101:
- Watch completed projects.
- View a plethora of useful resources on screenwriting, cinematography, lighting and editing and download helpful production templates.

Policies and Procedures »

Studio services are available the same hours the Information Desk is staffed (view hours).
In order to use the room, please sign-up at the Information Desk. The room can be reserved for a 2 hour block.
In-depth assistance is available by requesting a one-on-one consultation via the online consultation form.
iPads may be checked out for 1 day, other equipment can be checked out for 3 days. Equipment may be checked out only after signing the circulation agreement form (PDF).
Check equipment availability by viewing the catalog record. Studio equipment may not be scheduled in advance, but a hold may be placed on any equipment.

A number of iPads and iPad2s are available for 24 hour checkout. A host of office and productivity applications have been pre-installed.
An optional keyboard can be checked out with the iPad too. If interested, please ask for the keyboard upon checkout.
