How can I save my work safely on Raynor Memorial Computers?
Computer Configurations
Are the computers in Raynor Memorial all the same? No! There are seven configurations of software and accessories on the computers in Raynor Memorial Libraries. Here are the descriptions of each one:
There are Internet-only computers in high traffic areas of Raynor, in the Bridge café, and near the elevators on all the floors of Memorial. An alphabetical list of the software, hardware and accessories available in Raynor Memorial is below, also indicating locations. A list organized by type of software, hardware and accessories found on the PC computers is also available here.
What if I can't find the software program I need? A list of commonly requested software and free trial downloads offered by the software companies can be found here. These programs can not be downloaded on the computers in the library. They can, however, be downloaded on your own personal computer. You can also consult the IT services page for more information.

There are 2 Color PrintWise copier-printers in Raynor: one on Level One under the south carpeted stairs and the other on Level 2 near Current Periodicals. |

The other is located on Raynor Lower Level in the group study room to the right of the Assisted Technology Room (Room 060J) (see floor plans) You can check-out video cables at the Raynor Circulation Desk. Several other group study rooms are equipped with LCD wall panels. Video cables for these panels can also be checked out at the Raynor Circulation Desk. |
