Phillips, Bus Ad ’00, and 300 fellow
sailors took part in commissioning the Navy’s newest
guided-missile destroyer, USS Nitze.
Christopher M. Stamborski,
Eng ’00, is registered as
a professional engineer in Wisconsin. He is a project engineer
at R.A. Smith & Associates of Brookfield, Wis.
2001 Reunion year
Yvonne R. Bolten, H Sci ’01, received a master’s
degree in speech from the University of Arizona in 2004.
She works as a speech-language pathologist at Cottage Hospital
in Grosse Pointe, Mich.
Jamal Boughanem, Arts ’01, graduated from the Northwestern
University Feinberg School of Medicine in 2005 and began
a residency in orthopedic surgery at Northwestern.
Dr. David
J. Ficke, Eng ’01, earned a doctorate in
medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
William L. Hansen, Eng ’01, was named station manager
of FM radio station WRLR in Round Lake Heights, Ill.
Dr.
Camiron L. Pfennig, Arts ’01, earned a doctor
of medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine
last May and began a residency in emergency medicine at Indiana
University in Indianapolis.
Thomas P. James, Ph.D. Arts ’01,
Grad ’04, was
promoted to senior vice president-engineering for Techtronic
Industries. He and his family relocated to Hong Kong, corporate
headquarters for TTI, for the assignment. TTI is the parent
company to Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp. in Brookfield, Wis.,
where he has worked since 1994.
Jennifer (Novitzke) Eberhardy, Comm ’02, was promoted
to corporate sales and marketing representative for the
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in Milwaukee.
John P. Kennedy,
Comm ’02, was promoted to account executive
at Bader Rutter & Associates in the agency’s
publishing group.
Kristin O’Neill, Comm ’02,
was named public relations associate at University of
Chicago Hospitals in Chicago.
Patrick J. Simonelli, Comm ’02,
is the creative force behind LitVision Press and Literary
Vision Magazine. He is a member of the Underground Literary
Alliance and is the ULA Webmaster at LiteraryRevolution.com.
He works for a lobbying firm in Sacramento, Calif.
Mark
P. Tilkens, Law ’02, joined the Appleton, Wis.,
offices of Godfrey & Kahn SC in the litigation
and labor and employment practice groups.
Thomas J. Beres, Eng ’03, was promoted from project
engineer I to project engineer II at Rosemont, Ill.-based
McShane Construction Corp.
Kimberly E. Johnson, Nurs ’03,
and Maureen M. Reilly, Nurs ’03, are enjoying a change
of scenery in various West Coast cites as traveling nurses.
They completed 13-week tours of duty in Los Angeles and have
relocated to the San Francisco area.
