What is social bookmarking?
Social bookmarking is a practice of bookmarking web content and sharing that link with others. To share these links, users save their bookmarks to a web service that then aggregates commonly-tagged bookmarks into publicly accessible lists. Tags are descriptive words that a person uses to describe a link when saving it to to the service.
The new design of Marquette.edu makes it convenient for you to bookmark content to one of six leading services: del.icio.us, Digg, Technorati, Google Bookmarks, and Facebook.
