Friday Photo: Summer Send-off

From Seattle to Shanghai, New York to San Francisco, and all sorts of cities in between, Marquette alumni hosted receptions for incoming students and their parents. The Summer Send-off tradition gives new students a chance to meet others from their hometown before they all head to campus for the fall.


Alum Jason Zhu, Grad '98 (bottom left, green shirt) and Marquette professor Dr. Xin Feng, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering (bottom left, yellow shirt), were in Shanghai to welcome Marquette students from China.

Joe Stopulos, Bus Ad '08, hosted incoming students from Des Moines.

Joe Kowalski, Bus Ad '75, hosted the group in Cleveland.

If you ever need a MU Summer Send Off in Knoxville, TN...I"d be happy to host it! There is another alum I know well who also lives here. Just let me know!
