Campus tour guides sprang into action
By April Beane
Marquette's student tour guides know approximately 175 high school students will visit campus per week in the spring.
This spring break, however, put their walking-while-talking skills to the test — as guides like Lauren Holman, a freshman studying public relations in the College of Communication, led more than 250 high school students around the university's 100 acre campus. Stops along the way included Raynor Memorial Libraries, the St. Joan of Arc Chapel, a classroom in Cudahy Hall, the Alumni Memorial Union, the Helfaer Rec Center and a room in Abbottsford residence hall.
