Behind the scenes of Amazing Grace

Well before the Christmas decorations were hung along Wisconsin Avenue, Marquette's staff and students were working on the university's 2012 Christmas video sent to the Marquette community on December 6.
The video captures the university's spirit of service by featuring students volunteering at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, Noon Run and Hunger Clean-up (Marquette's largest day of service).
Marquette's gospel choir (as part of a class assignment) provided the video's soundtrack — Amazing Grace. They had the unique opportunity of recording the song in a professional studio, a first for all of them. They also performed the song live during their holiday concert at the Varsity Theatre.
And, in keeping with that spirit of giving, the choir's rendition of Amazing Grace is available for download to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
