100 things to do before graduating from Marquette
No one is better positioned to talk about getting immersed in the Marquette experience than alumni and current students. They tweeted, posted and e-mailed tips for incoming freshmen. Straight from those who know, here are the top 100 things every student should do before graduating from Marquette.
(Caution: It's well known — was even pointed out once by The Princeton Review — that studying, lots of it, comes before anything else here.)
(Caution #2: High school students reading this article might want to suddenly attend Marquette. With that, here’s a link to our undergraduate admissions page.)

Some sunny Saturday morning catch the route 30 bus on WI Ave going east toward the lake and just ride while you look out the window at the city. It will take you through downtown, to the lake, through some artsy east-side neighborhoods and to UWM. When you want to return to MU just catch the 30 back. Also catch the route 31 on 12th and WI going west some day. It will take you past the Harley Davidson factory, Miller Brewery, Washinton Park, some beautiful west Wauwatosa neighborhoods and to Mayfair Mall or an alternate route to MCOW. Again you can get off where you want and just catch it back to MU when you want. Get some friends to go along if you do not want to travel alone. It only costs a few bucks to get to "discover" Milwaukee. Get to know the transit system. My friends and I first rode for a quarter, and we figured out the bus (transit) system very well!
