1950-1959
Col. Tod H. Kulas, Arts ’50, U.S. Army retired, was
appointed secretary of the retiree council at Fort McCoy, Wis.
The council represents retirees in Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan,
Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. He would like to hear from
former classmates, men and women with whom he served, and any
other retirees.
Jack Casserly, Jour ’51, and his wife, Joy, born in
then Peking, China, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They have four sons and live in Prescott, Ariz. He has two
new books on the market: The Triumph at Tiananmen Square, based
on actual events leading up to the massacre, and Caesar’s
Coin, a story about a matchless coin marching through history,
from the time of Julius Caesar to the present.

B Strenski, Jour ’52, received the Maestro award
for leadership of the Florida Orchestra Board and was unanimously
elected to a second term. He also received a Volunteer of the
Year award from Tampa Bay Business in the Arts in acknowledgement
of his contributions to orchestra leadership.

Rudolph “Rudy” Jacobson, Dent ’57, and his
wife, Emily, have retired to Rio Rancho, N.M.
Anthony J. Mayer, Bus Ad ’58, was selected
for inclusion in the diamond edition of Who’s Who in
America.
